This is a brief guide to the circuits and summary of the known bugs left in them in this release.

Silverstone 1948
----------------

The set begins with a version of the original layout as used to launch the track on the public
in 1948, this was the curious combined use of the airfields perimeter road and runways, white
sheets were hung across the end of the runways to prevent drivers becoming distracted as they raced towards each other and the crowd were held back by straw bales and rope, the race itself was won by luigi villoresi on an alfa. The following year the layout was changed to the shape (with one exception at club that year) that would be used for the next 25 years.

Known Bugs
----------

Minor warping & flashing of some gfx
Pit Building dissapears as the cars approach Abbey curve

Silverstone 1981
----------------
A huge leap forward in years for the next track, I chose 1981 for two reasons, one was to do a version with the old and great Woodcote chicane, which was put in in the mid 1970s as a result
of the infamous Jody Sheckter inspired multi car shunt in the 1973 GP, and two because John Watson was one of my favorite drivers and this was prehaps his most popular and famous win.

Known Bugs
-----------

Slight gfx bug exiting the pits

Silverstone 1992
----------------
Chosen because at the time of writing, this was the last GP I could ever afford to see Live, although happily for me I will put that right later this year, this race of course like so many that year was utterly dominated by "our Nige", Red Five simply walked off into the distance leaving the rest of them way behind and in the process winning his 28th GP and becoming the most succesful British driver ever, I then along with almost everyone then stormed onto the track to acclaim Nige and in the process almost met Murray Walker, but that's another story!. I also chose this year as the circuit back then was probably the best of the many "new" configurations that were to pop up in the following years, this configuration also corresponds with the one used in the original F1GP.

Known Bugs
----------

Several gfx bugs in pitlane.

Silverstone 1999
----------------

Really last year's track, but I will update the gfx when the new season starts, the track nowadays is very much a compromise of improved safety following the tragedy's of 1994 and improved challenge for drivers, as such botb Copse and Stowe have been returned to something like thier 1991 selves and the run from Bridge corner has been made longer to afford drivers more chance at overtaking into Priory, sadly the AWFUL Abbey Chicane remains from the buchery that the track suffered in 1994's panic safety measures, although there is always hope a better solution will be found for the corner sometime in the future.

Known Bugs
----------

Pitlane (Again!), it appears that the Silverstone Pitlane doesn't take kindly to change!!,
this has resulted in a very weird bug if you take a tight line out of the pitlane exit, the car gets launched into the air on occasion which is pretty exciting, I really have run out of solutions as to what is causing this( it also affects some others in the set to a lesser degree), anyone have any Ideas?.

CC Line is a bit rough (i.e Shit) in places

Silverstone International 1999
-------------------------------
A true 1999 track layout as I have removed the Ireland esses, this track is the one used in the BTCC with the cars turning right after the first Becketts "S" and rejoining the track by Abbey.

Known Bugs
-----------

Pitlane (Never!!), gfx bugs on entry & exit

Silverstone National 1999
-------------------------

The shorter National track uses a lot of what used to be the old Club Circuit (coming v2.0 BTW), and is used by many national championships.

Known Bugs
----------

Nothing of Note (WHOO HOO!!)

With so many tracks at one time I have probably missed some bugs, so any bugs found not listed here please let me know so I can put them right for v2.0.

I hope everyone enjoys v1.0 of the Track set, the next release should see the number of Silverstone's included stretch out to 10!.
